When I was 6cm dilated, I didnât felt any pain to the point I can sleep peacefully but when my water broke instantly the pain came rushing and it was so painful. My water broke at 7cm and it took me 16 hours of labor before I reached 10cm to push the baby out but my BP went up again to 160/110 and my babyâs heart begun to drop because of my high BP so they did an emergency CS to save both me and my baby.

Yes, we are both ok. My baby is now on her 12 months. I got pregnant on her when I was at my 30s. Sheâs also my first pregnancy. My doctor told me that complications in pregnancy such as pre-eclampsia (rising of blood pressure) usually happens due to age. But we are ok, I was really thankful to God that me and my baby are both ok. My friend who also experienced the same and had pre-eclampsia (sheâs also in her 30-ish) her son didnât make it. Her son died days before her scheduled CS-delivery.
If you are pregnant and in your 30sâ you better check your blood pressure and always seek for advice from your doctors if itâs best to take the baby out early or not. Apparently rising of the motherâs blood pressure can decrease or limit the blood flow to the baby which suffocates them.
