Maximilian reminds me of Lelouch, I feel like that's the kind of ending he will have. Even though I'll probably cry when that time comes but I won't even mind because that sort of ending fits the story so well.
Every dialogue, monologues and even the art fills me with a feeling of melancholy, it's like they know that they're damned but have accepted it and are just playing a part while waiting for the tragedy to befell them of their own making. I know that they're strong characters who're doing their best for their own goals and my writings here makes them sound helpless but still that's the feeling I get from them.

Also Jean's monologues are always so beautiful and helplessly sentimental like he can't help it, he was always bound to fall for him. His change of emotions feels so natural, bith in his thoughts and how he treats and looks at Max. Maximilian feels like an ethereal being to me, always so mysterious and powerful like nothing can phase him and has a look like he knows what's about to happen. This manhwa is just beautiful.
