Does this mean he can't get status ailments like buffs or debuffs? is he immune from death as his HP is locked and can never go to 0? I think the irony in this is hilarious and should be a greater focus in the story. It's kind of ignored right now, which really sucks cause it has amazing potential

I really am getting tired of this trope where the mc easily forgives someone fort their horrific actions (naruto), like I'm not against forgiving and redemption, but first they must genuinely repent for their actions and they should WORK at being forgiven rather than being forgiven in a few lines.
I hope the mc doesn't forgive his father. There is no reason for a parent to abandon a child. ANd if he does forgive him his father must work hard to be forgiven and punish himself everyday for what he has done. Otherwise please chop off his head and his new wife.

I love how balanced the Mc is. He is powerful, but that is thanks to centuries of hard work, hard work that many overshadow him in a few weeks. Hell some of the characters have capabilities beyond his own. What he has is lots of knowledge which is understandable given his age, but again he may know many things but he cannot use the more advanced magics. Ch 30 or so did this well by showing others using an 8 sided magic while he at best can use 6. Or when he had some difficulty adventuring showing he isn't omnipotent. So great as we have a chance for him to grow both emotionally (hermit shutin) and magically!
A while back I asked if his S rank fork could pierce A rank armor. These are the questions we need answers to people! Is that fork one of the strongest in series weapons?!!!
I like this story! The FL is, well, a nobody but she is still strong in character. A strong woman doesn't need to be a badass warrior or a genius. Her character is very well written. I liked the story a duke's maid, but the FL Isabelle was so annoying that I lost interest. It's a pity cause I really liked the ML Alejandro.
I think this story has a very similar premise in that the ML was mistreated for circumstances outside their control, but a single maid showed them kindness when they don't benefit from it (and Blair was treated horribly for it, so her actions spoke even louder and showed her strength). Both are similar in premise but this one does a better job of writing the characters and how the cleverness behind their actions. Granted the circumstances are very different, afterall Chloe has much more freedom than Alejandro did.
This is what I want to see in my villains! You get such a vivid impression of despair. I'm kinda tired of how villains seem so cartoonish. i don't mean petty, but how they are so easily defeated. Look at the lady with a smartphone webtoon. That did a terrible job with the villains being so predictable that they were jokes. Thia bitch is a real villain. One I can't wait to see die a horrible death alongside her followers. I hope the goddess curses them all for their actions.

Exactly! See villains are supposed to be massive obstacles that also serve as focal points for the protagonists growth. In the case of Iris and many other manga webtoons they were reduced to STEPPING STONES. Rather than an obstacle they were, at best, mud on the street.
I hate it when characters in romance lack self respect. Like you're worth more than that! So while she still holds feelings for that manslut, I'm happy she isn't pursuing him.
And isn't it a bit cruel she is judged for her apperance. i gather it may not be an appealing fashion, and if the perfume really was a bother ask her directly and stop acting like a little bitch, but it's her choice. Besides her personality isn't bad but rather cute and sweet. Again though, I wish she held self respect instead of fawning over the prince all the time.

i read the other manga adaptation and it's very weird how radically different they portray Wazu. This one is much more comical with him aiming for a harem, yet hes nothing like that piece of shit Issei from DxD. I actually like this guy and hope Wazu gets a happy ending.
You know so many people are giving him shit about his fiance who the hero wanted, but I understand. come on guys, he was a villager who was worthless. For so long he was hoping his fiance still liked him and not change her opinion so seeing the hero, a man he compared himself to and found to be better in everyway, and not see an outright rejection made him feel insecure, that he wasn't worthy of her. He's had those feelings for so long and without her there to explicitly state how she felt of course he would assume her feelings would change.
Just started reading this story, and I hope he does kill them all. If you think about it a healer is so fucking deadly. all medicines are poisons given the right dose. Likewise, healing magic could theoretically 'overheal' like cause rapid cell division (which is healing) causing immediate cancers, brain damage, removal of 'toxins' like acids/bases which can ruin protein structure, ect. If instead the healing works by returning to an ideal state, wouldn't he be able to do the reverse and cause all accumulated damage to reappear? Numb nerves and induce paralysis, mindcontrol, induce stravation by rapid metabolism, heal viruses and bacteria so they wreck the body without getting harmed, ect.
Point is healing can be DEADLY and I can't wait to read how his healing functions.
