From what I understood by reading the latest chapters, it seems like the crown princess translated the fanfiction of Rayburn in her own code language with her own name. The document was found out and scholars tried to decipher it and they came to the conclusion that the crown princess's country is probably plotting something behind their back which is why they are going on an expedition there so that they can confirm their suspicion.
Crown prince and Rayburn leaves for the expedition leaving Hoya, Angela and crown princess. Crown princess is in trouble so she is secretly trying to go back to her country which is why she's probably hiding there.
Since Angela's fanfiction writing job is over, Hoya gave Angela 2 choice :
to leave the capital and go to north where she will live a peaceful life with the wealth given by Hoya
or she can continue to work for them and go to the expedition with Mano.
Angela chooses to go to the expedition. Mano is very against of taking Angela to the expedition so he's thinking about taking her out and go drop her in the north. Which leads us to our current situation.
Also there are some people who are very much against Rayburn and Hoya and are pissed at Rayburn's sudden popularity. So they are trying whatever they can to mess things up for the siblings
