I, for one, noticed it, or perhaps it’s because I have a keen eye? I’m not too sure, but yet again, humans are adaptable creatures, so I got accustomed to the change. I’ve come to like both. Regardless of the art style, I love the plot and the characters themselves! I’ve concluded that the art is beautiful, no matter who’s the one that is holding the pencil.

What you've seen, is an alternative story the author made. The reason is due to some fans (like yourself) wanted to know what would happen if J stayed with C.
In that alternative world, J did nothing of the things that happened in the actual story, no rape, no harassment, no isolation, gaslighting, threats, coercion and other shit he did.
In the main story, the actual one, the rational and logical and amazing one, Chiwo ended happily with Kyujin, and most of the fans (that wished for Chiwoo's happiness) are glad about that.
PS: And I don't root for the rapist, no matter his background, or other daddy issues, he doesn't deserve our mc, after what he did. Liking him is something, denying and/or forgiving him (something that only the victim and the others that empathise with him can do) is a whole another story. Glad he did not get to keep being toxic with Chiwoo, because Chiwoo deserves better than a rapist (having a hot body doesn't excuse him).
