The story is so elongated to the point that it feels deformed hence, unrecognizable atp. You may be fine if you're new but if you're OG from the beginning, most of us find this extremely/terrifyingly and excruciatingly slow. Last time i remember reading the raw where the flashback first started, LAST YEAR. I could be exaggerating cuz its to the point where i no longer remember how long it has been. Its like a story you dropped and found by chance after 5 years.
And in my honest opinion, the author couldve opted to make the flashback in the main story short and do the rest of the flashback as a series of side stories. The dead stop of the present timeline is just... unfortunate.
I just checked, the first season ended in december last year and the second season(basically the only thing we've been getting till now) started in April. Counting down how long it has been, yes we have gotten nothing about the present timeline, FOR ALMOST A YEAR.
Also, raw is at chap 75, still stuck in the past lets go babeh☠☠☠
honestly I agree but I'd honestly prefer if they broke it down like most manhwas do. where's there like 2-3 chapters dedicated to the back story that explains the current conflict going on and as we delve more into Ian and the empowers relationship bit by bit we also see the backstories bit by bit. but yea a whole season for a back story is honestly.. if anything they should've done this in the first season it'd be translated to much better where we see their past first, the death, then the reincarnation
Ngl this feels like it was written by a teenager in love and is seeking a bit of angst for the sake of....love? I feel like this is what a 12-15 y/o would write and eventually stopped updating lmao
Exactly! I just finished the latest chapter and decided to drop this, precisely because everything feels so childish. So it's definitely not my cup of tea. That said, I totally do understand the people who are enjoying this, because sometimes you just need to have an entertaining story that doesn't call for much emotional investment.
WHY IS THE SPOILER SO BAD HWHWIAHALDBOABDKWBDOABXOSMbx i might just drop this cuz omf what was THAT HAGAHSHSHHA
No I dislike harem actually so i dont apply to the generalization of the 'people' you mentioned. I used to be a fan of reverse harem but this one, its a bit, too much dare I say☠ maybe cause the spoiler was worded simply and made the character devoid of any morale and rationalization, but thats how i feel. Of course we have to see it first but my point stay, I didnt like the spoiler at all. Not because shes a woman or anything. Stop assuming everything is about gender, I would gladly appreciate it. Its the storyline that im unsatisfied with.
Yes, my comment is mostly cause I've seen way too many people speak as if it is some unspeakable thing even though this girl actually has reasons to do it, to literally survive, while the guys in Shonen it's just there.
.for the kicks and giggles I guess. Just wanted to remind anyone reading this of the whole genre of Shonen lolol. Also it is tagged as harem already so how surprising could it possibly be fr?
Its an unnecessary reminder tbh. It's not like your target audience are reached via here so i dont see a point in bringing it up but I understand your intentions. And yeah of course i have exceptions, theres a harem i actually like quite a lot titled Like a Wind on a Dry Branch and this is simply cuz the plot is uniquely crafted. The fact that its tagged as harem is not surprising, like i said, i used to be a fan of reverse harem, i still do till a certain extent but this one is just a clear classification of a bad one in my preferences. And tbh, not just this, ive seen many other mangas typically that are keen on making the storyline in such a way, well, that was put in a way thats discreet. In honesty, its just plot for porn so cant say im a big fan of those. Make it plot for plot or porn for porn that's all i can say. Nothing to do with gender or whether its shonen or not

THIS IS SAD WTF but im in it anyway...
Im just glad they give us the ending in the first chapter. At least it didnt hurt as much /especially from me guessing the plot to the point of overthinking
