this story just ticked all the boxes, can’t believe so many people didn’t like it. the gag about joe/fl being a “perv” was actually kind of hilarious when u realize she was just a fan fangirling over her favorite character and he was just (unwillingly) mind reading her

anyway, kyle was a 10/10 ml: he wasn’t too aggressive/distrustful, acted his age, had the right balance of flaws and qualities, fawned over the fl no matter what gender she was passing herself off as, remained a good member of royalty… not to mention how CUTE he was!!
i just loved how he called her pretty when she dressed up as a guy. he genuinely loved HER, no matter what. and he was in no rush to disclose her gender to everyone, unlike most mls in cross dressing fl stories
and joe was a 100% satisfying protagonist. it made sense how she was very powerless at first — she was literally just a stableboy working in the palace of an unpopular prince. and all of her growth was through her own effort and will. the RIGHT kind of OP mc
