I read the novel because I had to know if the princess died. She didn’t die!
From here on, there are spoilers: A blood bag was already planted on her during the play. The reason the main character, Leticia, panicked was that the princess stopped breathing and didn’t move. From what I understood, it was the white mage’s magic that paralyzed her, or she may have been drugged. People suspected Leticia of killing the princess because a fire started immediately after the “murder.” This was because oil had been poured around the area beforehand and disguised with the scent of incense. There’s more, but Leticia solves this case too. I feel like the main character is a little detective, and I love that! She even solved the white mage mystery without realizing it by guessing that the genius doctor looked like a white mage.

now I’m hurt dropped again
I’m commenting to remind myself I dropped this
If I recall correctly she and the ml know each other, like they are the ancient story, and some betrayal happened, and the hero is actually her son soul from their past past life
Dropped it bc it was some bullshit
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment. I’d like to clarify a few things. First, the betrayal I mentioned refers to the fact that she is cursed to kill her child in every life. My original comment may have been confusing because it was meant as a quick note for myself to remember my thoughts—this story is something I read a long time ago when it didn’t have many chapters, and my opinion stems mostly from the novel.
English isn’t my first language, but I’ve worked hard to adapt by mimicking my surroundings, as I grew up in an English-speaking environment. I’m aware my comment may not have been perfectly clear, but I don’t think it warranted a rude response.
Also, I never said the story was weird—I just thought it was frustrating. The story clearly tries to break away from common tropes, but in doing so, it ends up leaning into borderline creepy territory instead.
Since you asked for a constructive comment, here’s one: I feel the story could delve deeper into the emotional consequences of the protagonist being cursed to harm her child. While the premise is compelling, exploring the moral weight of her actions and showing more of her internal conflict could make her redemption arc feel more impactful and nuanced. Without this, it feels like the story’s attempt to be different ends up being full of contradictions and doesn’t quite stick the landing.
"It's okay that they were a prick because OP was lazy and made a bad comment." That's how that response reads.
Comments on this site are for vibes ,warnings, and reminders (to self). Authors don't see these responses, the only I can think of that do see them are: uploaders and teams. Not the authors or artists. Unless they're pointing out something to them in specific, there's really no reason to rate a comment as poorly worded or unconstructive otherwise.*
Debate all you want on bad takes, though, that's something different.
**PSA (unrelated to anything going on above): don't be a dick to the uploaders or teams that work on these projects. **
Its fine to interpret however you wish for it. But with the rise of some brainless plot which are getting too popular these days, I would always defend this one manhwa as it questions the universe many time. It require some analysis to understand the plot. With rise of tiktok and all some forgot what plot depth is and end up calling it bullshit
Thank you for the constructibe criticism. While there can be some improvements done in the manhwa, the points you mentioned are included in the comic. Can also refer the novel for more points as it mightve dived deeper in this aspect and comic cant always cover everything. Please read the comic till latest chapter before calling it a negative and dropped it because you found it boring for few chapters.
No one is obligated to like what you like. Why are you so pressed that a stranger on the internet doesn't enjoy the same thing as you and set themselves a reminder not to go back to it.
Also, perhaps it is you who should read to the end of things. They said their opinion is from reading the novel. They never called it boring, they called it contradictory. These are their thoughts and feelings and it isn't your job to change them. No one is stopping you or anyone else from enjoying this.
Bruh why are you pressed then? See there is missing out on a good story, hating a bad story and hating a story you dont understand without reading. It is kinda dumb to call it a bs without even understanding what is it. Kinda like calling science as bs if they dont understand it. Otherwise idc what you hate or love.
This is weird asf, remember the main character Yi imagined himself in A position and got uncomfortable that’s exactly how A should feel and how we the audience feel.
Someone tell the author to take this storyline out and make it a sequel we won’t be forced to read OR
Change the storyline and tell Yu to seek help

Ranting:
How can they parents let them share the same room, that’s just weird and maybe they could have introduced this better seeing as they aren’t blood related, but making him basically raise then want physical relations is weird, that’s…., ( here it comes tall) GROOMING, that’s why a lot of us readers can’t accept this because it is grooming maybe if he didn’t raise him and acted normal and then confessed his love(sins) and A had time on his own to process things and started off slowly then yes I approve but I don’t approve this grooming jumping straight into passion romance. Someone let me know when rourou and big head grow up can’t read anymore

Hyesung assaulted Dojin
But that’s something people aren’t ready to talk about
And since everybody likes to throw around that r word
HYESUNG RAPED DOJIN
People keep saying “Hyesung was assaulted by Dojin” when the story itself shows the opposite — Hyesung climbed into Dojin’s bed, initiated everything, and ignored his lack of consent. And when the roles were reversed, in the third encounter, people were quick to call it rape.
What frustrates me is how society—and fiction—often flip the script when the victim is male. Studies and reports from organizations like the CDC and the UK Home Office show that a significant number of men have been forced into sex by women, but those experiences are rarely labeled as rape in public conversations. Men are told they “should’ve wanted it,” or “could’ve stopped it,” which is the exact same reasoning people use to excuse Hyesung: “he’s an alpha, he should’ve pushed him off.”
But consent isn’t about strength or dominance. It’s about choice. In both real life and fiction, if someone is coerced, manipulated, or overwhelmed by biological or emotional pressure into sex they didn’t agree to, that’s assault—no matter their gender.
I don’t hate Hyesung, but I refuse to act like Dojin’s trauma doesn’t matter just because he’s male or an alpha. Accountability should go both ways.
And I just know someone is going to jump in and defend Hyesung by bringing up his past or his upbringing. Please — I’m not saying he hasn’t been through things. He absolutely has. But as readers, we have to be fair about what actually happened.
Two truths can exist at once: Hyesung can have trauma and still be the perpetrator in this situation.
When we ignore that, we feed into the same real-world double standard where women who assault men are seen as “emotionally broken” or “confused,” while male victims are told to “take it as a compliment” or “fight back.”
That’s not accountability — that’s gender bias or in situation second gender bias.
Yes. This is also what ive been talking about. THEY WERE BOTH TOXIC lets not be one sided. Lets not take sides because all sides were both wrong
Holy peak the boxer pfp
THANK YOU FOR THIS! I'm only here because I heard about the "love is an illusion superstar" drama going on and everyone in that comment section was saying Dojin assaulted Hyesung and baby trapped him and its the same in this comment section. I got whiplash when I was reading these comments because In my head it was the other way around, Hyesung assaulted Dojin, thats a fact. I was almost gaslit into thinking I switched things up in my head.
I feel like people automatically have a soft spot for omega's because they know that when their in heat, they can't control how they act or what happens to them during that time. But, what they fail to understand is that Alpha's (not the ones that actively try to assault omega's) are just as affected by a heat cycle. No matter how much they try to resist, it's hard to control their urges and they eventually give in.
There is definitely a double standard with how Dojin and Hyesung are treated. I've always disliked Hyesung even at the end of the Manhwa. I understand he has childhood trauma that he's still trying to cope with but that is no excuse for his overly childish behavior even after knowing he was the one who jumped Dojin. I was really pissed off that Dojin was blamed for what happened that night. I'm actually surprised Dojin still wanted a relationship with him after all of that.
Smells like a rapist apologist to me
Are you from Israel??
I'm sticking up for the person that was actually assaulted while you aren't.
Are you high? TF does Isreal have to do with a Yaoi Manhwa? Please get your head checked. #freepalestine
