i kinda hope the stepmom stays as a vital character to the plot, now that her entire background is exposed to the main cast, bc i wanna see how MC and the others use her. i'm kind of curious how she'll live the rest of her life, now that everything's in the open, and where that leaves her, as well as her son who technically had no part in any of her plans, but is definitely an antagonist.
i like this so far, but it's kinda weird reading a story based on a team-sport wthout even seeing MC hold a legitimate conversation with a single one of his teammates. the only teammate i remember the name of is the dude he just subs in for LOL.

i dont know whether you're still seeking for answer or not but for future reader, this shit is not worth reading, it just become harem and the plot is predictable. you might think the author would do something to change the pace of the story.. but no.

i'm actually invested with this type of MC. like i feel like it's just diff subtext with this type of "weak yet emotionally strong-hearted MC who sacrifices themselves for their family" between guys and girls, maybe due to just societal gender norms/expectations from women versus men. like normally with dudes i don't get as invested in this type of MC. maybe it's also simply bc this is one of the first female MCs i've seen in this shounen, no-romance genre with this type of personality.
the change in artstyle is SO unsettling, esp since MC honestly gets the brunt of the changes. the new artstyle isn't bad or anything, it's just that the old artstyle suited the characters so well, and is honestly a part of how i see the characters that it's messing up my flow LOL. like the way they draw the hair is so different, it's crazy. i also think the OG artstyle is a bit more uncommon/stylistic and distinct, so it's a shame to see it gone. and the fact that wonkong doesn't look the same makes me so sad, cuz he's my favorite LOL

same the art style is not bad but the previous mc was more handsome & a change in art style affects the flow & smoothness

rereading this, i keep getting pissed off by that one moment touma was like "i don't even GET to challenge my brother bc of my heart surgery aliment thingy, so don't act like you get me" towards MC. bc like,,, bro,,, you literally congratulated MC, this dude you barely knew for a week, after he told you his twin brother passed away while praising his basketball skills with clear joy and happiness towards his passion LMAOOO. like touma is so stupid bc even if you thought it was a good thing, why would you ever tell a STRANGER that they're lucky that their brother died LMAO ?? YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM. and my man DOUBLED DOWN when MC was like trying to undersatnd where touma was coming from with that UNCALLED FOR AND VERY HORRIBLE COMMENT LOL, with "you don't know me" like bruh u didn't know MC or his dead brother either when u said that shit
