I was around 13-14 chapters in, and after she ignories her maid’s advice..that her father wouldn’t reject her even if he knew the truth..and kept setting other priorities I started getting bored. So, I skimmed through the rest to see how long she’d keep the secret and avoid going home… and you’re telling me that 37 chapters later, she STILL refuses to face her father? Yeah… bye.
I feel the same. I refuse to read any more of this until she FINALLY sees her father! Yet, I don't even feel the "urge" of wanting to read this anymore.I left off on Ch27. I check the comments to see if it has happened yet. But it's starting to seem like it's not going to happen until this is close to completion. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I felt sorry for little Maximo, if only he had been taught not to be prejudiced against betas, he could've grown into a classic tsundere. Instead, he turned into a full-blown asshole, constantly picking on the MC and only getting worse as they grew up, unknowingly becoming obsessively possessive. Toxic alpha behavior at its peak.
Moral of the story: Teach your kids not to discriminate!
Anyways, MC and ML are THRIVIIIING!!! What I love most about their dynamic is how much importance they place on communication.
how ml actively makes an effort to understand where MC is coming from, too. Instead of letting doubts fester, he communicates in a way that ensures MC knows he’s being sincere.

This exceeded my expectations! Given the low rating, I assumed it would be another shallow PWP, but it’s surprisingly well-written. The humor lands, the characters are genuinely likable, and the ML actually respects the MC, he stops the first time he’s told to. It’s a bare minimum , but in BL world, that’s rare. Hahaha
