Who knows, Sengho may have not even wanted to fuck him. Seeing how twisted Sengho is it had to be the appeal of corrupting Nakyum. But if Nakyum could just paint like it was no big deal. If he had no conflicted feeling to show when ever he drew or painted, I'm sure he'd just be like a piece of furniture for Seungho. He'd provide him with room and board, as well as painting supplies. And would probably give him a decent salary.

I think his coldness is a coping mechanism. For whatever reason he was the one chosen to be the "husband" in this arranged marriage. He obviously doesn't want to do it.
I guess he could be nicer? But he is being forced to engage in sex acts with someone he doesn't love/like/have a sexual attraction too. Being forced to mate with someone can't be easy even if you are the one penetrating. He might even figure that the rabbit tribe is just doing it for the food (he isn't wrong about that the rabbit tribe sold the poor mc out).
It is not an excuse for his cold behavior. But I think I understand why he's behaving the way that he is. Of course sooner or later the two characters will talk about feelings and fall in love. Let's just hope that this writer gives the seme a legitimate sense of remorse. That he isn't just forgiven and then behaves like nothing bad happend. That we get to see him struggle with how cruel he was at the start.
