It’s one of my pet peeves in fictional stories when MC tells someone clearly to not to something simple and then they do it anyway with some stupid bull reason, like MC told ML explicitly not to go outside and then he did anyway because he thought MC would be scared??

I LOVE how the author made Maki black cat coded without being a tsundere! Also love how they both know how to cook! I get tired of the trope “one is great at cooking and the other is hopeless at it,” it’s so much nicer when they’re both good or horrid at it. It’s so much more realistic and balanced for Maki to be a good cook while Hanazawa can still cook but is learning and improving
