I know it’s a little gross but like my biggest gripe with mpreg and heats and ruts is that if male omegas procreate from their butt don’t they need to use it like for the actual other important body function? Like the digestive system cleaning one?? I can only suspend my disbelief so far this guy is getting ‘fed’ bodily fluids but that doesn’t actually stop the actual digestive system from functioning for weeks on end?? Like okay RIP his bussy too but mostly RIP his digestive functions??? Damn.
I want to like octo/tako but man if the manhwa artist hadn’t made him also sexually assault dr yu maybe that would’ve been possible. The main couple is extremely nice (and the side stories are fun) but if you want to portray them as a happy family with a monster for a child maybe it’s better to not have said newborn monster soak up water, enlarge and then assault his ‘mother’ (chapter 4-6) high key skeevy. Esp gross since it’s implied that tako was born bc of the first tentacle monster assaulting dr yu. Whack ass shit.
I’m sure once this ex inconvenience blows over the next story ‘arc’ will be coming out to jaehyuk’s parents and I’m hoping it will go smoothly but given that he’s a single male child and an heir to his parents business if author wants to portray this realistically it would be tough going. I can only hope it isn’t too hard.

ANYWAYS this made me think about discourse within certain circles about the metaphor of cannibalism as obsessive and devotional love (example from episode 8.5 of Mabel podcast titled ‘Letter from Juniper’: Lily, Lily. Sometimes I would eat you if I could. There is a witch in a story who ate a girl she loved, and always afterwards when she spoke, flowers fell out of her open mouth. I would swallow you up, and you would be lobelia on my tongue for the rest of my life. This is what they say: it is not uncommon for us to want to eat what we love).
I didn’t catch much of it but I did see Richard Siken weighing on it on twitter as fundamentally a flawed representation of love because cannibalism is a selfish task, seeking consumption of the other and destruction of their being (iirc). Maybe I’m remembering wrong but he was firmly in the ‘cannibalism is not a metaphor for love’ camp. Why am I saying all this? Idk I just thought it would be funny lol anyway I don’t know if I’m convinced by Mr. Siken’s reasoning bc certain works using this metaphor are bangers but whatever ig. Sorry for wasting your time dear reader.
