Honestly the only thing I'm confused about is the past timelines, but otherwise it's a Hella interesting concept.
The timeline is our mc is 24yo, 6 years ago is when she met our hottie (24-6=18, looks like college was the setting) then 3 years later was when she ran away from the marriage (18+3=21) then she stayed with the auntie for like 2-3 years (21+3=24) but the biggest confusion is HOW did they get engaged within those 3 of knowing each other? and the most important question is HOW DO I DO THAT, I WANT ME A HOT POSSESIVE SNAKE WOMAN IN MY LIFE TOO THANK YOU VERY MUCH. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET ONE. (Yes I said that much buildup only to simp)

The way this story talks about their journey was honestly so good. I cried multiple times.
This is not yuri/shoujo ai, but I'm ngl I would've been fine with their relationship as subtext or just being sisters which is frankly quite rare for me. I love Kuzushiro-sensei sm, she writes such amazing stories, at one hand she can draw about two crazed girls being crazily obsessed for each other, and then there's this lmao.
I recommend checking out other works of this author, as its like the best.

First, the duchess is better looking, better personality, BETTER EVERYTHING, her only "flaw" was being a woman.

It was punching me in the gut every time the duchess looked at our MC with love.. AND THEN IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE DUCHESS TRULY DID LOVE OUR MC LIKE THAT??? It was like my guts was taken out (like the little Wolfie from Beast of Blue Obsidian style).
Though honestly the MCs personality, especially how well done her standing in society and what she needed to do to grasp that was so interesting, too bad the annoying greenhead was the love interest, which made me drop it. He was too overbearing for my liking.

It was an honestly interesting read, though I don't think I'll pick it up again/reread it if it doesn't compel me to.
The MC is Hella interesting, she actually uses what she has to survive especially being in the lower parts of their society which I think is very smart, it was the most great part for me.
The love interest wasn't that bad too, i have no good words for that treehead though because he said Rebecca lost, but he's actually just a fine dude just a bit annoying.
The story was engaging enough, so I recommend anyone to try to read it for themselves!
