i think it’s simple. mc has extreme delusions, in the last part the author showed that mc couldn’t see Jimin bc his mind dismissed his existence. He gets to subconsciously only see what he wants to see, that’s why in the chapter where the shrink asked if he can see “jihye” (which means jimin was there the whole time) meaning he still wasn’t cured that’s why the shrink insisted on him taking up his medicines. the doctor asking abt the possibility of doppelgangers, aliens n ghost was just a creative segway to not spoil the story, i think it was used to somehow make a hint on what is actually happening in the story and at the same time confuse the readers to keep them hooked. bc when i found that jimin was actually watching over him, everything kinda made sense

so this has 45 chapters... and we are in chapter 36 rn..
I joined Toomics and got one free chapter so I picked Chapter 42, I can't read Korean so I used Google Translate.

Christian learns that Elliot only liked him because he looked like the guy Elliot liked (S1Christian). Angered and distraught, he rips out the keychain Elliot gave him. He asks if his feelings were ever genuine, to which Elliot only apologizes.
