Not that I don't like the story, it's fun and cute at quite a few points, but it's like the asshole in the relationship just switched from the prince to Ryouma (^_^")
Also, I mean, technically, Ryouma is transgender in a sense so it would have been nice if they used "he" a lot more consistently. Because he constantly insisted on identifying as a boy. Not ignoring the change obviously, he got a female body and junk it would be stupid to ignore that, I just kinda wish they'd respected the disconnect a little more *shrugs*
Also their baby boy is adorbs <3

The whole family is super adorable but Hinata is just the sweetest little thing. I wanna see him grown up with his two dads ╥﹏╥
I wanna see more of Keiichi being the most embarrassing/cool dad
I wanna see Hitsuji looking out for Hinata at school
I just love Hinata (⌒▽⌒) I want an anime child (▰˘◡˘▰)

So, my hate for that selfish prince is definitely getting in the way of me enjoying this. He has zero (0) redeeming qualities. He ruined Su-in's reputation, got him demoted and continues to disrespect him by trying to throw money at him. And now they're together...?
Maybe he's got a great ass or something.
( ̄へ ̄)
Just. Am confuse.

This was surprisingly sweet (=・ω・=)

Guys, I just can't with how cute they are

Milla January 28, 2020 6:38 pm

I mean, this is the typical BL story. Boy likes boy > boy overcomes challenges in order to confess > the other boy accepts his confession > they date at some point after the confession is made.
But my heart seriously aches. I could barely get through the chapters after they got together because my heart broke for Junseo. I was really rooting for him ( ̄∇ ̄") and the chemistry between Karam and Jaewon felt lacking for me toward the end.
Also Yoonsung is so my type of character ♡ so I loved every moment of every appearance he made. (≧∀≦)
Personally, I would have liked it if the story went the Harem route of having a clear main couple but leaving it open-ended with plenty of fan service for every pairing.
That's just me tho, don't know if it's a popular opinion, I hear multishipping is rare ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Is HeeYeon perhaps socially inept? Or an idiot? Or both?
He was also super persistent, the characterisation of both of them was all over the place. I mean, apparently HeeYeon started liking SeoWon after he called him a pushover? But then he was anything but? And SeoWon was obviously interested in him (shown via body language) but his internal monologue was completely contradictory; making his feelings super unclear.
Plus, I was super bothered by them both being alphas and then SeoWon goes from fighter to submissive. It would have been better if they switched positions every now and then.
Also, a rich man coming to rescue you is just such a female fantasy and I spent the whole time struggling to get into it because I had at least 3 questions and ??? moments for every chapter.
Great art, bad story (masquerading as an average story).

I agree with you, but don't insult the female's fantasy.

The ending felt rushed because everything happened altogether in the last chapter.
Jaemin's friend having feelings for him could have been cut out entirely and, legit, nothing would change.
And, in the end, it seems like they end up together on a whim? Their relationship didn't really feel built. Feels like we're missing information.
My first thought was "smut?" But there's too much plot for that. And yet, not enough plot for a satisfying story.
Kinda sad because I wanted to know more about Boseok and Seo Iwon (I think his name was?). There was some history that might have been interesting to see, right? Also, proper addressing of why Yuncheon is a prick, please? I get that it probably has to do with people only being with him for his money but he also had sleeping problems?? I wanna knooowww! (/TДT)/
The art was totally beautiful though and it's a passable read. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Okay, so, disclaimer (and it's gonna sound weird but): I generally like abusive relationship stories.
They can be quite a diversion from the tropes that can so easily get repeated to death. You can go so many ways with them and show vast growth and interesting ways of thinking even if it is a little messed up. But, honestly, this horrified me the whole way through.
It's not that I hated it per se but I am definitely turned off by a character constantly saying "no" and "I'm scared" both internally and externally. Mostly due to my own experiences I suppose.
But it's not just that. Because there are actually quite a few BL stories that can start out abusive and fucked up and the pair progress into a, somewhat, stable relationship. Mistakes can be rectified and people can change and trauma must be worked on. I'd say this just doubled down on the abuse, acknowledged it in passing, and then told us that everything is going to be okay now
I'm writing a freaking essay at this point but I think it needs to be said that there are much better ways to write abusive relationship stories, and even better ways of romanticising it. This is just bad writing.

Plus Haruki finally gets asked what he wants for the first and only time and yet never really answers the question (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
His reasoning ends up being 'well this feels sexually pleasing so I might as well give up any ambitions and dreams I probably had as a hardworking top student at a prestigious academy so I can be a baby factory for this younger dude who stalked and raped me like twice'.
Haruki wasn't the kind of character that this trope suits. He was intelligent enough to earn a scholarship to a hoity toity school and driven enough to excel. He was defiant enough to take on a world of stigma. So when he just ends up being exactly what the stereotype of an omega is I just feel (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
Someone like that wants something more from life. Someone who wanted to plan having a child and raise a family differently from his frivolous parents doesn't deserve this treatment and it honestly sickened me how every other character didn't care about anything. Haru was the only normal and sane character in the entire series and he was a cardboard cut out weepy uke.

P.S. wtf is up with the artwork keep it goddamn consistent ヽ(`Д´)ノ

    THANK YOU, i 100% agree

    neonpoop January 23, 2020 11:34 am

You've worded this so perfectly and I 100% agree.

To me the thing that was gross about this is that the author romanticized their abusive relationship and glorified it as a good thing?
I like abuse (IN FICTION lmaoo) when it shows it as being abusive, and even if the MC ends up with the abusive asshole in the end and actually loves them it's shown in a bit of a 'bittersweet' kind of way.
Or I like it when they start off abusive and unhealthy but slowly learn more about each other and develop from there.
This was just... neither. And reading it was all sorts of uncomfortable.
