Well is not like the author is “pressing” anything. Girl is traumatized of her mother and brother’s death, I don’t understand why she didn’t seek help to a psychologist. Her father got depressed and didn’t took care of her daughter.
The neighbors were kind to take care of her as their own daughter and overtime they grew a strong bond.
Just recently she is seeing the ML different from a brother, but it will take time for them to be in a romantic relationship.

in my pov the author is pressing the ‘i see u as a sibling’ thing. last panel chio said “dont touch my sister” but you can see how chio looks at her from the previous chapter..plus the fl did mention how she sees chio as a real brother.. im just saying at least dont use those nicknames or keep highlighting both ml and fl sees each other as sibling when at the end of the day they are gonna be a couple (if they actually do, we dont know). the fact that they grew up together dont bother me much. its not wrong to have a change of feelings since they are not an actual siblings, its just as i said it will be super awkward.

she lost her family at a quite young age + got left alone too. she probably dont know any better to seek help from a psychologist. no one to guide her and we can see how she suppresses her emotions too.

I understand that it bothers you, but we need to keep in mind that they grew up as “brothers”. The ML already has romantic feelings from quite some time already. But he can’t confess or show them because he doesn’t want to make the FL uncomfortable. He knows that she is not ready for such change so he keeps purposely some distance.

The FL is slowly changing and starts to have some interest in him. But at the same time she has to deal with a trauma which is more important. She needs to heal.

The ML’s parents could have helped her seek help. I’m guessing that they thought she was healing slowly idk. Irl is important to seek help in such situations.

i think you are misunderstanding my reply or i myself replied to you poorly. i have no issue with fl and ml being a couple or having feelings towards each other, whether its now or in the future.. truly, would you claim someone you have romantic interest with, as your sister? realistically, if ml want fl to see him in a different light (other than a brother to her) , he would at least avoid treating fl like his own sibling (eg: by directly caller her his sister) i mean this is fictional manhwa so the realistic element is 50/50, it is totally up to the author. that was what i am trying to question.

again as i mentioned how she suppressed her feelings, she might have not mention her struggles to the parents. maybe that is why the parents didn’t help her to seek help ( or help her by themselves). the parent might assume she was okay since she look fine externally. so its understandable. sadly it happen commonly in real life too #－.－)

When I said you had an issues I was aiming at the fact that you dislike when they call each other brothers/sisters.
I’m just trying to make you understand that it’s not a “pressing” case, but a logical one. They grew up that way since they were kids, they cannot change that overnight.
As the story will go and judging from the cover, they will end up together and have his parents blessings(and maybe her father’s too).

i understand, that is why i mentioned from the beginning that ‘hopefully’ the author dont press about it too much in the future. its not that i want to see an immediate change or ‘overnight’ change on how they treat each other. ‘hopefully’ author wont keep dragging the sibling thing in the future or else its going to be awkward. im hoping for the future, not that i want it now. that is what i meant from the start if it is not clear yet. there is only 6 chapter, it has long way to go. [hopefully] there will be some changes. ╮(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)╭

I do think that when they’ll start kissing at the beginning they’ll still be in “sibling” phase because they surely won’t talk clearly about their feelings and have lots of doubts.
But when things will be settled that phase will be gone, dw :))

I don’t think the author is pressing on that but more like he needed some kinda place to protect her from. She couldn’t be just his neighbor. And now they are feeling suffocated by those labels they put there in order to stay together.

if you are into manhwa with heavy/deep plot then this is definitely not for you. its good as a light read bc the romance is quite mushy.. all i can say is from what i read, the manhwa exist just to show how tsundere the ml is and how miscommunication between fl and ml made the story longer…
