i think it handles the entire rape, abuse, etc. very poorly. it feels like a big fuck you to sexual assault/abused victims, having her get with her abuser, and then giving the abuser backstory and a ‘tragic’ past that is not, in the least, tragic nor excusable for his behavior. the whole ‘humanizing terrible people’ doesn’t sit right with me.
I agree with Jieun here. I find her, currently, illogical. It just fails me how despite all she went through she still finds herself contemplating the prince. So what if what happened in the first life didn't happen in the second life? What matters is that it DID happen. She was traumatized, now suffers from PTSD (which the author COMPLETELY FAILED TO SENSIBLY PORTRAY) and closed herself off when she first entered her second life. She was so, utterly damaged, had no self respect, and blames herself for things that aren't really her fault. So then, what's the deal here? Why are you constantly thinking of the person that hurt you the most?

Even if the girl was a guy and called a hero, we will still give no shit about their stupidity.
Like the 3 stupid guys in the shield thing hero manga
