with this backstory, it seems so out of character for him to be doing all the shit he did when he grew up. you would think with the amount of abuse he has witnessed and experienced (and the fact that he wants to protect his mom from the hurt inflicted by his father) that he'd learn from it, instead he chooses to exert the same abuse and pain to hurt other people. this story could've taken a wayyy better trajectory that actually showcases growth lol but i guess the author wanted to show that the abused eventually becomes the abuser lolz lazy fucking excuse of a backstory, jaekyung worked hard to get out of that situation, it just really frustrates me that the author wrote him like this when he grew up, his potential to be an ACTUAL deep and meaningful character was taken cus the author was too focused on sexual assault
fuck ass author just doesn't know what to do w her characters, man had so much potential, his character was really complex and i liked how the writing was going but lols, of course we can't have everything

Liek TJ, he’s a complex character and a good character as well, but he’s not meant to be in a relationship until he heals, and definitely not one with Ian. If someone’s gonna end up together between them all, it’s either Ian and Jo, or Ian and Ian.
