I agree whit everything you've said. I've hated both of Conor's parents in previous chapters. But better late than never, i'm happy if she comes to her senses and i hope it's not too late... obviously what made her blind was her faith, deeply rooted in her.
Probably in the next, when she'd pray for simon's recovery (i'm so mean, i'm so guilty, i'm the worst- and stuff like that - but pleeease save simon. If they're happy, it's ok, so save him) , in THAT moment... simon wakes up.... (≧∀≦)
