def depends on ur circle, I've had online friends that lasted months w/o knowing ab each other's personal infos (name, face, etc) and those are TALKING friends, id imagine it's harder if u're gaming friends and ONLY talks to each other ab games etc
well my past online friendships took us 2 whole years to know what we look like so theyre still both reasonable imo
FR I've had friends where we exchanged contacts in a couple weeks. And there are friend's I've never seen or hear outside the game to this very day because privacy (which I respect). It honestly really depends on the person.
