To be fair, 40 days isn't really that long. Anyway, I think I understand what all of the hold up has been after this chapter. Ritsu is probably still very much in love with the Takano from 10 years ago.
Now, I never really believed Takano when he said that he was in love with the Ritsu from now not the Ritsu from 10 years ago but he has been pretty consistent about that. Ritsu though? I mean, if Takano were a completely different guy who he had no history with then would they really have a relationship now? I'm not sure. In hindsight, Ritsu fell in "love" with Saga because he was a cute looking dude who liked books. He didn't really know anything about him. Meanwhile, Saga actually grew to like Ritsu organically. So maybe now Ritsu himself is wondering if he can separate Saga from Takano and if he loves just the Takano of today.
All that being said, I thought that was a stupid plot point the first time it came up because your past interactions with someone don't just disappear. Of course Takano's feelings from the past have carried over. Ritsu too. It's bs to say otherwise.
Junseo and Jaewon would be cute together but I'd like it more if they became great friends. I feel like that's what Jaewon really needs.
I feel like Jaewon deserves to have a friend who he can speak openly with about his relationships and not have to worry about them being disgusted or treating him like he's weird.
This author really knows how to make things end off on a creepy note. Still, it's subtle. It's like something Harada would make if Harada was a little less twisted with a more positive disposition.
Anyway, someone needs to come and get Yamada. The dude came into you house. How? You don't even know. And what did he do? He made coffee just to ruin your bed. Like, have SOME sense of self preservation.
I don't understand why Junpei didn't just give Rina a clean break. He didn't change his number. He's always answering her calls and messages. He isn't saying what needs to be said. Even when he was being really forward with her, he said things like "I'm not deserving of your love". He needs to say "Even if I were single and without a child, I wouldn't be with you because I don't love you."
Like, legit. Have any of you noticed that he has actually not said "I don't love you" point blank to Rina?
well she's a bitch, and probably have mental illness. its like voices enter from the right ear and out the other, you get what i mean? Like she would just pretend she didn't hear any of it.
but yeah he should at least say that
I feel like it was in bad taste to have him go right into having sex with Hayase after he was just raped. I mean, they could have just cuddled and talked about their feelings after things were settled. It was really a missed opportunity for character development.
Shiina could of had the realization that he is worth loving and that he doesn't have to settle for these good for nothing dudes and that he needs to treat himself better. He could explained in more words that he was jealous and ashamed in front of Hayase because while he likes him, he has also seen him at his lowest and that's intimidating. Hayase could have explained better that he's like Shiina for a while but he didn't want to be like the other guys who came before him.

You see, this is the type of teacher that you are actually warned about. Most of the teacherxstudent mangas have legit hard working teachers who just happened to fall for a student. That student will be the first and last student that they'll ever touch because the student they are dating is also their soulmate.
This teacher wasn't even there for a whole semester before he got his hooks into one and then set his sights on another. Then he went and directly asked a student if they wanted to be sex pals.
