It seems like this has been on hold for a while.

This story is great but everyone who isn't Minjae is lowkey trash. Good looking and entertaining but trash none the less. You kind of forget it as the story goes on but yeah. It's true.

Feeling bad for her doesn't mean that I don't think that she brought this upon herself. I mean, she probably gonna die and it will clearly be a painful death. If she had been brought up differently then she might have turned out differently. That's sad.

Still, I just can't hold it against Eyama for wanting to hurt her. You victimize someone and that's bound to happen. I don't see a good ending for her and I don't want one. She's not sorry for what she's done. She recognized that it was her own actions that have brought her to this point and so she regrets that. But she's not really thinking about how she hurt others.

They are both victims who turned tormentors. She was broken by her father's "selling" her to rapists. He was broken by her (a friend) tormenting him with ceaseless bullying. But I still sympathize more with him, because she was tortured by strangers and a father she already knew was worthless. He was tortured by a person he liked and trusted.

If the leader of this lab turns out to have orchestrated their situations on purpose (all the suffering in all the labs), they need to band together and take them down. That might actually help heal them both, since both are victims and both are tormentors.

But her victimizing innocent persons vs him victimizing his tormentor is what really changes the lens that we view them from.

Absolutely. She had NO sensible reason to torment him. Wanting him to be "stronger" is amazingly weird and lame. BUT..since she's "broken," to her it made sense.

If the author was that keen on Daiki and Sui being end game then the least they could have done was put in some kind of redemption. Like "Oh, he feels bad that he raped and he was punched" is not redemption. Dude didn't even apologize. And, the manga never even explained why Sui had a crush on this dude even before he met him.

This manga is rushed like there are parts of the plot missing and the author forgot to put it in or my guess is that they didn't completely think out the story line

hunterx2 October 3, 2017 8:12 am

It's an interesting premise but I don't really want to see these two become end game. I want them to make amends and move on from each other. That's it.

Also, why are people saying that Jin seems yandere? If one of these two has issues, it's definitely Hamura. Maybe some of you missed it but ya'll do realize that Hamura tried to break his own ankle, right? He only hit Jin's eye because Jin used himself to stop him. Hamura is genuinely sorry but... that's super messed up? If Jin forgives him and Hamura has grown past that then fine but above all that, these just don't feel like lovers.

Okay but I wish that there were some sort of retribution in this. Hyungjo didn't really have to work to win Minjae's trust back after hurting him. Literally nothing happened to tall, dark, and handsome. Blondie who purposefully set Jinhan up to have a horrible night as a joke with the drugs gets the other selfish blond. And.....? As a reader, it would be more satisfying if something happened to them or if they worked to show regret.

Conclusion: minjae is so pure and cute and forgiving and kind (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

That explains a lot. I was wondering why he was so adamant about homeboy needing to carry on the family line and about how he had wasted his time.

hunterx2 September 27, 2017 9:25 am

But I also want to talk about his boyfriend though. Why would you agree to go on a romantic getaway with your boyfriend and then refuse to give him the romantic? In this particular story, if this dude had just held Leo's hand and let him feed him a few times then they would have had a nice trip together with no Leo hoeing.

He must really love Tominosuke because not staying with him is basically a reset of his whole life. He's been his servant since he was 15. It's a full time, live in job. We haven't seen anything about his family and I think we're to assume that he has no friends because he spent all of his time on his job. He doesn't want to betray the only people that have put trust in him and he doesn't want to lead the person he loves down the path of a hard life.

Honestly, I was pretty upset with it. For the first half of it, his body is used against his will. And Mi clearly spared no regard for Ken. Not his feelings, body, or time. Neither Mi nor Hikaru were thankful enough for this huge burden that was placed on Ken. Neither of them had the shame to at least do anything for him. Hikaru didn't even have the decency to have polite conversation with him most of the time.

And I don't even understand how Ken fell in love. He talked to Hikaru few times. Most of them were just Hikaru explaining how Mi messed with his body while she was using it. Besides the last time that they went to amusement park, what else did they ever do together? Silent walks home. That's it.

exactly it was really unpleasant reading it...

    Completely agree with you though.
    It's upsetting, "Saenai-kun" deserved better.
