There were some extras that were added in that made the manga better than the Web Novel. But there were some scenes that lost its humor in the Manga. IE, In the WN,
During the Harvest Festival, when rimuru became Demon king, Rimuru was in his room alone with Benimaru and everyone was outside. The the evolution ceremony happened everyone who was connected to rimuru,aka named by rimuru, knocked out and fell asleep. Benimaru was the last to sleep because he faught against it for a while and he saw the whole transformation of Rimuru. Like right than and there he had a man crush on Rimuru. He was enamored by the beauty Rimuru turn into and literally said, It is but a same that IT has no gender. Like they took out the best line of the whole series in the manga. I was so disappointed.
