Yea i second this ,the novel mainly focuses on shuna's culinary skills ,rather than her magical power,im glad the manga do her justice.
First of all he had it worst than the MC. They were both abandoned and on their own but MC had ML and she did not experience human cruelties but the boy did. MC is more naive than the boy. MC did not have to worry much about defending herslef against humans as the boy did since she grew up in a secluded place and only need to worry about food. But the boy need to to worry abput food and survive through shitty human society. He is not evil but a survivor. When MC was found the emperor her dad accepted her existence as his daught very very fast. But when the boy royal lineage is proven to be true by his eyes and blood test his dad refuses to believe him until the boy litterly almost stop existing.his soul was being taken over. While the MC had the ML to protect her when she was alone the boy had no one. Even now She has protectors and a family but he whose life mirrors her had no one. That made him easy to be possessed and blackened. He is a victim of society and a survivor. He had it worst than the MC. IF he had died like the MC back than he would of have stayed dead because he had no one.MC was lucky to live again because of ML

I never said they weren’t magical jewel eyes and it’s never been fully stated that they eyes can’t be used by anyone else it was just stated that they have to be from someone with role blood meaning someone who was born a royal probably was killed and they were stolen and lost. I am mentioning the obvious Not really because they litterally mention in the beginning that only royals have jewel eyes since they are blessed by the sun god and the jewel eyes were given by the son god.not to mention in the legend of the aquamarine eye one was stolen and there is no mention the of the theif being able to use it. And in this recent chapter we see the boy finding two aquamarine eyes not one. And in the recent two chapters we saw her being very dead and it is obvious that magic was used to save her and the obly magical being with her is the winter spirit.

The manga is doing really good.i enjoyed it even better than the WN.it gives the other characters chances to prove themselves and give them more characteristics than the WN.like durinf the while 10 demon king meeting,not thing reall happen in the novel. Rimuru went to the meeting and beat clayman.his followers didn't do much. Apito and Aldman didn't have much of a story in the WN just that they followed rimuru and became op.the WN is basically about Rimuru soloing everything,except the final war were some of the characters have their moment,but it was mainly Rimuru doing most of the work.
