I sometimes think this seems to progress too fast..but at the same time i really love it and am somewhat happy for the faster progression because that means more stuff happening?! I also think an add for like 'men wanted' wouldn't be a bad idea for the village but at the same time they don't want to end up with some dangerous pervs turning up!

Many of the comments here jump to hate upon a harem and the two girls, I'm just gonna say...if you've read up to now why drop it because of the mere SUGGESTION of harem (i mean sure engagement is kind of not just a suggestion but he has a long time to go before then) And sure i'm no fan of harems myself but i've now read a couple of rather unique and funny isekais with harems that aren't very run of the mill so like...give it a chance and stop being whiny babies? Well first of all, I've read...a certain amount of that but i've honestly not found it that bad, generally there is a warning in tags if it's a harem and for a decent portion of the ones i've read they haven't been full ecchi so they still have a lot of other interesting points. There's also the fact that if you base it on true ancient times a man saving a girl that has a good amount of power/money/strength would be a prime marriage target because...well women had no power over anything? So there was a fairly high need to find someone decent to marry, but lets not joke here we all know Harem Isekais are just fan service for virgin boys but they aren't all terrible and as i said this one has only started its not like we've gone full harem yet
