But it just seems like they always but her in danger. It’s kinda going in circles not making much progress. Also idk why she doesn’t get engaged to the back hair ML. She likes him obv and so does he. Of course they don’t have to marry fast it could be a five year engagement. I get where you are coming from but the demon, Kian, is the male lead in this story instead of the original male lead. Quite frankly, even though Kian is hiding something and gives off mixed signals, I find him alright. He does care for Rosette and his willingness to protect is admirable. The reason why no one knows who he is is because the crown prince is already dead and he takes on the disguise of the crown prince. Also, with Rosette's novel not being complete, of course no one would know who he is because most likely he appears later on in the original story.
I don't think Rosette is being naive, she knows Kian is sketchy and hiding something but she sees that he doesn't want to cause her harm. She is still scared at times, but she cares about him enough to get past it.
The ghost though... It would make sense if that was her mom but who truly knows?
