Whoever is translating this, Thank You very much for taking your time to do this. There is a great lack of good shoujo manga and its been a really long time since I found one as good as this with a real plot. All the characters have a backstory worth reading about and I love our heroine together with her adorable and awkward boyfriend.
I agree and i'm thankful as well for the group of people who picked up this manga. Seriously this is a good shoujo i appreciate the art and the non futile/crybaby characters that we usualy come across in this genre.
I´ve gotta say, Law is the most obsessive seme in the history of yaoi. haha ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
But honestly, my heart started beating really hard when Jesse was running, for a second, I thought Law might commit suicide. And when I saw that video of Jesse, my eyes got really teary as I zoomed in and I kept staring at it. It reminded me of when they were both young and innocent, trying to figure each other out in that harsh reality.
The only part that I still find mind boggling is ch 52, page 2, just what on earth did Jesse do to Law in Moritat that had Law begging him like that? That flashback was also shown in ch 32 page 6-7. Does anyone have an idea of what they were talking about? Same goes with ch 32 page 10-11. What does Law mean by "this should be okay, right?" We got to see a few flashbacks in chapter 32 just before Jesse awakened so I was hoping to get answers behind their conversation as we go along but we didn´t.
Maybe this part is supposed to remain a mystery? Maybe the real meaning behind those scenes is to show their respective position in the relationship and Jesse´s cruelty even in Moritat. Even tho it bothers me that I don´t know what it is about, I´m starting to think maybe that´s the authors real intention. I don´t see any comments about these 2 scenes in the comment section so maybe it´s just me who focused on that ( ̄∇ ̄")
Anyways this was a long roller coaster ride and Moritat will definitely remain as my all time favorite yaoi unless I find an even better one (which I doubt). Btw, is it just me who laughed at the end by what Jesse said? Law just got reduced from a dog to a puppy HAHAHA XD boy I feel like I could write an hour about them and all the confusing parts but I´ll stop here. I´ve decided to take a break from Moritat and come back after I´m done with my final exams and then reread it very carefully then maybe I´ll find new clues that i might´ve overlooked earlier. Peace out!
I still can´t forgive Law. He created Moritat and hurt Jesse solely for the reason of satisfying his feelings and to finally get over him. In chapter 28 Jesse confronted Law of his suspicious that Law might be the person behind everything and in response Law cried (to the point that Jesse was afraid he might dehydrate himself) but it turns out Jesse was right. Law is the culprit and yet he cried? He admitted in ch 52 that the kidnapping was a setting that he created yet we continuously see Law trying to appear innocent throughout
the time in Moritat and him looking hurt every time Jesse accused him. I still love him but it surprised me how easily Jesse forgave him. I wonder if he still has that lighter? (he probably does). I finally understand now why Law refused to give the mothers voice message to Jesse. It was all because Law wanted Jesse to rely on him and only him and not try to find comfort in his mother´s voice.
Anyways there are still things that are unclear. First of, Jesse says in chapter 31 that he hasn´t cut his nails or hair which means that their physical appearance stays the same inside Moritat so how is it possible that Jesse didn´t notice he stopped growing all the other times? I know Law had many failed attempts so Jesse would eventually forget everything but it doesn´t take long to notice that you´re not growing.
In ch 19 Law told Jesse about the first time they met where Jesse says "hey you blonde, whats your name?" Did that really happen inside Moritat? I think every flashback Jesse and Law have are real that happened in Moritat but if so, how did they grow older? Does Law do something with the machine that makes their physical appearance change as he pleases? (It is possible since Jesse didnt have that scar on his forehead inside Moritat).
But again back to my question, how did Jesse not notice or did Law play with his mind so every time he questions reality, Law brainwashes him and has him falling asleep like we saw each time Jesse wonders about all the strange things? For example in ch 12, Jesse wonders why he doesnt have any scars on his body despite the accident and suddenly his mothers corpse appears out of nowhere which diverges his thoughts to something else. Same in ch 25 Jesse wonders why he´s never wondered about this machine inside his body. Perhaps Jesse inside Moritat wasnt really Jesse since he was being brainwashed. So the only explanation I have is that Law would create a different setting each time where they are either in their current age or younger and somehow play with Jesse´s mind so Jesse wouldn´t notice that he isnt growing and how the tea and cigarettes taste weird. And even when he wonders, he soon forgets. I´d love to hear other people´s thoughts about this weird machine but then again I feel like this is not what the author wants us to focus on.

I really liked the uke until he turned into a major crybaby. Their conversation was cringeworthy. They ignored each other for years yet somehow they were able to resolve it in just a few pages. I think I'm disappointed because the first 2 chapters made me think there would be some psychological deep shit involved (especially the younger brother seemed insane) however I was hit in the face with a fluffy chapter instead. And it's weird how the incest part was thrown out of the window considering how realistic this story is about young students in society pushed by their parents expectations. The elder bro was portrayed as a playboy who fools around with friends after school yet somehow he suddenly agrees to change the lifestyle he's lived for years. Oh come one this had such a nice flow to it, why did you do this? 3 stars from me.
Haha, I know right? My neck's still hurting from the sudden total 180...
its like after chapter 2 the author was like fuck it. in the beginning, it was perfectly set up to be a phycological story but unfortunately, it didn't happen.
