Thank you for this comment, I like the story as well and feel horrible for it. So this comment made me feel not alone. The world is full of hypocrisy (as you mentioned) and this comment made me feel less guilty of liking something that (I also agree) should be looked down upon IRL, but makes for an interesting read.

It's sad how people just realize you said that. You only talk about his feelings and his suffering, but what about Chiwoo? Chiwoo was suffering from having Jihyun stuck to him all the time. Chiwoo couldn't make friends without Jihyun pushing them away, basically half of Chiwoo's life and happiness was taken away by Jihyun due to his self-absorption. The only reason Jihyun wants Chiwoo back is to make 'himself' happy, he never thought about Chiwoo's feelings at all. Jihyun also raped and physically abused Chiwoo which makes their relationship unhealthy. Not only was Chiwoo suffering, but Kyujin was also. Kyujin waited years and years for Chiwoo to be with him, but the problem was Chiwoo always had Jihyun interfering so it was hard for the two to actually confess their love to each other. For all this chaos Jihyun caused, he does not deserve to be forgiven. He deserves happiness, but not with Chiwoo. I hope that Jihyun can find someone who will care for him and make him happy. After that, he should not get involved with Chiwoo's personal life ever again, the same goes for Chiwoo.

First of all, that physical abuse was only one time, and it was only after he was driven into a corner and he couldn't take it anymore, and he genuinely regretted it, everyone makes mistakes, but if someone is genuinely regretting and try their very best to change, then u shouldn't bring their past up all the time, no one likes their past mistakes shoved in their face time and time again when they themselves are trying very hard to get better. Second, I said BFF(meaning my ex-bestfriend) not boyfriend. 3rd, chiwoo isn't exactly an angel here either, just as Jihyun has his faults, chiwoo has his faults too, if someone were to write criticisms in both of them, there would both be a lot, I was just pointing out how much of a hypocrite and unfair he was to J, and I don't ship Jihyun x chiwoo either, becuz J deserves someone who actually loves him and appreciates him just as much as he do to them, not like some ungrateful fake friend who don't evn want to acknowledge all the sacrifices he made for him, has an indecisive personality and half-assed kindness.

Make sure to capitalize the 'first letter' when staring a sentence and put a 'punctuation' at the end of each sentence. Sorry! One time or not, rape should never be justified or have any excuses. You might not realize it right now, but right now you are sticking up and trying to justify the actions of a person who treated another person like sh*t and used as self-comfort. That's like saying, "Hey, I murdered your entire family! I didn't mean to, so please forgive me! That's all in the past so let's just forget it!" I know you shouldn't always bring up the past, but it depends on if what the person did is considered to be forgiving or not. Just because Jihyun has matured and grown-up, doesn't mean his actions should be forgiven. A person changing does not give them a free pass to do as they wish. Bringing up the past can be logical and necessary at times, it's very important. You shouldn't also always 'forget' the past too. Jihyun regrets it, but does that mean Chiwoo is in the wrong or that means he has to forgive him? And I'm sorry, I misread "ex-bestfriend".

You say Chiwoo is at fault, yet you don't have evidence to support your reasoning at all. How/Where/Why Chiwoo is at fault?! What did Chiwoo ever did to hurt Jihyun to make his actions to YOU justify?! If you can please explain and be specific it would actually make more sense. Chiwoo back then was confused, scare, and dependable on other people than himself. I believe Chiwoo was not in the wrong at all! Jihyun was controlling half of Chiwoo's life and of course he's going to act the way he did towards Jihyun. Chiwoo needed someone to save him and someone did that for him, that someone is 'Kyujin'. Kyujin actually thinks about his feelings and even risked himself for him. Did Jihyun do that? No, he didn't. Chiwoo wanted to be with Kyujin when they were teenagers but Jihyun had always pushed them away from each other. Jihyun isn't completely at fault, but he is the MOST at fault. I do wish Jihyun to gain happiness and to develop a relationship with someone else, but not with Chiwoo. The two of them are adults now, and it's time for Jihyun to move on.

I will say that I expected something to happen even though Bai was as gentle as possible with Curtis trying to reassure him before they left and I thought it may have been best just to take Curtis and the babies with them, because I'm pretty sure Curtis could easily find them all if they got lost but her argument was sound. It really shocked me when he threw the basket, because I'm like those babes are yours and Bai's children set them down then go destroy a tree. Yeah well, but the babies are fine, they're not like "hurt" or in a pain and Curtis didn't threw it hurt enough to be serious or anything. I know that rejection, abandonment, and emptiness are strong feelings even rage can stem from injustice and abuse, but there are 3 ways that a person can handle all of the hurt inside them...let all of the pain fester inside closing yourself off to the world, lash out on the innocent who have nothing to do with the pain and may want to help, or recognize that the emotional wounds won't heal on their own and seek out someone who really cares to talk to and if you need to hit something or throw something it shouldn't be at your children or loved ones since that stays with you for life. It sounds like your parents are taking out all their frustration and past pain on you and your brother for no reason and that's not scolding at all it's not something you or your brother deserve even if you don't live up to their expectations or make mistakes there's not a human alive who hasn't. It seems like your parents might have had the same done to them and they're repeating it, doesn't make it right, make it any less bearable to live in, but I wonder if they took a minute to look at themselves and they're children would they really want things the way they are? I want you to know that you're a good judge of your own intentions and when you're doing your best even when you're parents don't say it.
