So the ml and everyone else is a race what you call “celestial” and they were really weak and they had previous kings who would just take advantage or selfishly neglect them. When MC came, he became their king and he did everything for the empire to be strong. MC made them drink a potion to change their race from “celestial” to “dark celestials” and it increased their strength. They became too strong that they became the number 1 empire that no one could conquer, but the process of changing races is extremely painful. When it was the grand duke’s turn to change, MC confessed to him but he was replied with “I despise you” in the game but it turns out to be a misunderstanding. Out of guilt for putting through everyone in pain (for changing races) and broken heart, MC stopped playing the game and ML is now trying to do everything to prevent MC from abandoning them again.
The ml is angry at the mc for leaving him and the empire. The mc left the empire because he was rejected by the ml. But the ml never rejected him. The GUIDES interfere when the mc confessed his love to the ml. The mc heard the ml say “i despise you.” Which the ml never said. The ml response was “i cherish you.” So it was kinda a misunderstanding. I dont know why the guides interfered because its been a while since i read this.
They interfered because that was the ML’s dream, they said that the grand dukes each have a dream, but his dream was to be with MC, but to stop that the guides interfered that so he wouldn’t gain his dream and make MC run away!!
Basically half right, half wrong. The main point of interfering is to prevent the MC’s empire rapid growth because their gap compared to other empires is too fast.
