Just hold on, they get better. This imo is a story of a fuck boi who learns his lesson the hard way. Stick it out, cause his redemption arc is *chefs kiss*. He learns to love her the way she needs to be, she doesn't make it easy for him. he learns to be responsible. She learns to stand up for herself and not to take anyone's shit anymore. And in the end, most everyone who was mean to her and him later get their paybacks.
I read a lot of BL. All kinds of tropes, fan of some toxic shit like Jinx and Risky Vice to name a few. This one is the complete opposite on the toxic spectrum. Warm fuzzies all the way and I love it so much! (▰˘◡˘▰)
