This made my heart ache so much. If they were only honest from the start and acknowledge what they felt. Raphiel wouldn't have died or be involved in anyway with this two. Fr. Istg this is just fucked up.
Aelock is really awkward if you read the other volumes. Growing up as the heir of the Count, he couldn’t build any real relationships because a lot of people who did seek him out were after something. He was misunderstood as cold and arrogant, because of his lack of expression that was something taught to him as a child, he cannot show weakness. He masked himself in a polite smile. He tried being honest but was met with humiliation. He tried moving forward, but repeatedly humiliated…
Klopp had a lot of pride. He couldn’t accept his attraction to Aelock, and opted for someone who looks like him. When it didn’t work, he continued to humiliate Aelock for liking him. He believes that Aelock was out of his league, and the fact his an alpha didn’t help. So he punishes Aelock for his own attraction. He was partly responsible for Raphael’s death, to be honest, and ultimately Aelock’s demise in the end.
I feel bad for Aelock more, because as much as he committed a grave crime, he was more sorry and just took everything Klopp did as his punishment. But Klopp he didn’t do it for Raphael, he just wanted to conquer Aelock. The high he felt as he humiliated and destroyed Aelock, made him the true monster in this story.
Yes, that is the messed up part. Klopp Orchestrated this because of his pride which ultimately claimed two victims: Raphael and Aelock. This arrogance was the root of the mishaps. Klopp didn't even bother getting to know Aelock and why is like wearing a mask to hid everything especially how he felt. The late Count is also at fault for having such toxic upbringing. Overall both parties are guilty; only Raphael and his child became collateral damage of all of it.
Yeah, Klopp is really the villain of this sad story. It was easier to paint Aelock in a bad light, he needed a reason to hate his strange attraction. Even in death, if you read the novel, you can still feel Klopp blaming Aelock and other people for a lot of the bad things in his life.
The beginning of s2, how he said Aelock’s addiction to pills were passed on the twins, he was still blaming Aelock. But shouldn’t he have noticed Aelock’s growing intake of the pills? Even before the fifth pregnancy, he stated that Aelock has grown a lot weaker, also the fourth kid was smaller than the previous three. He even had that question, if Aelock didn’t have those kids, would he had lived longer? It was a bunch of what if? But he couldn’t take accountability of his actions.
Aelock’s dad was also another monster. His the reason why Aelock is messed up, Aelock was basically a doll playing Count, trying to uphold to his dad’s teachings. Aelock didn’t learn to value himself, to have healthier relationships… all he learned was how to be a noble. And because he couldn’t have weakness, he has to bottle his emotions, he’s like a bomb waiting to explode, he doesn’t know how to manage his emotions… he just knows how to hide them. He doesn’t even tell anyone when his hurt… even his trusted butler who is like his godfather doesn’t know a lot of the bad things Aelock experienced. It’s really sad. He was all alone after his mom died. And that impulsive decision to scare Raphael and to end it all during his fifth pregnancy was the bomb finally exploding… it’s not an excuse, but it’s just heartbreaking. Aelock is pretty decent until he met Klopp…
I feel bad for Raphael. All he wanted was to be a good friend and partner to Klopp, despite the differences in their status, he really wanted it to work, he practiced cooking, ironing and so on. And Klopp failed him as a partner, Raphael didn’t deserve that. He was a kind soul that got entangled in Klopp’s mess. He became an object of Aelock’s jealousy, which is sad, because Aelock didn’t hate Raphael… it was cultivated. ╥﹏╥
And this is on going... The whole regression theme in general is to make the past better so that the future won't fall to shit. It does have a feel of regression so if there was a version where Klopp would actually remember the memories, he should have done better but he turned out way more of an asshole than he already are. The concept is good but the twisting angst and fury didn't make the story alright. It made it traumatic.
It did go overboard with everything, but the theme of s1 was really creating your hell… Klopp’s actions and decisions made all of their lives into a living hell, he dragged a lot of people… even his children.
The story usage of the omegaverse lore is actually dark but brilliant. I won’t spoil it. But this a lot deeper than what just happened, we all thought that Klopp’s actions were just him being cruel, but unseen element played its part in that tragedy as well. Klopp could have stopped it, but he was so consumed by intense self-hatred and guilt, it kind of took over him. Remember the elderly Klopp hallucinating, it was that unseen element playing with Klopp… tormenting him. It’s seen in s1… but of course it’s not as noticeable, if you see the beginning of s2 and reread s1... you’ll see it, the purple eyes.
The whole regression is interesting. I like that’s it’s different from your usual return stories, it’s unexpected. If you’re interested the novel is actually a lot farther, it’s done with arc 2 (or s2) and moving to arc 3 soon. It’s free in knoxt! It’s well-written and the translation is superb, so you’ll enjoy it.

Foreign god, fvcking sake. I'm dying of being curious... Is He under the greek Pantheon? Ares, Zeus...? Persian Pantheon maybe...? Ahura Mazda? C'mon now. The pacing is too slow. I'm bawling on how slow this story is. (/TДT)/
If hes greek, then i bet on dionysus. He just has the vibes
Nah I feel like he gives Poseidon bro. That or Zeus
Im so used to zeus with white hair that its hard for me to see, but I could see poseidon work. That might slightly explain how little hints there are for his identity since hes in the desert
One major hint is he can use thunder right...? So most likely its Zeus if he is from Greece... And the golden eyes he has. He all know that Zeus is the most "flirty" of all of the gods in Greece. I'm just throwing assumptions for now. Poseidon isn't strong if he is the desert since his affinity is the Ocean and seas.
Yeah thats my point; hes in the desert, so it’s not like there’s gonna be much helpful hints to him being poseidon if he actually is poseidon. I didn’t remember him using lightning but if he did then that makes sense
Sorry I meant lightning... And involces of the weather maybe... just dying to know who is he so I can foresee how he will act in future chapters
Right because if he’s zeus then it’s definitely a more interesting take on him
