Your comment sounded like you prey on young people which is, pretty creepy (and I'm saying this as a young adult myself) Also, what you said is inaccurate, plenty of people have sex lives even after 36, i know from my mother, my older sister and many people I've witnessed around me. People who only go after people under the age of 26, are major red flags.

When exactly they mentioned that she is 18 ? Can you remember the chapter plz, coz from my understanding she was 12 and 4 years has passed so she is around 15_16

*kinda spoiler warning* The count was about 16 when he moved out of wigue, built his estate in 3 years, that makes him about, married bianca during that time and she was 9. His age gap with her should be about 9-10 years. As the story puts it he never touched her until she was 19-20 (before regression, their first consummation was at 20), she regressed to when she was 18, their interactions start then, post regressed life their first consummation was when she was 19. It should be noted that he married a child not out of perversion, but for the sake of his estate (from the marriage he got promoted baron to count (means they receive more funding from the kingdom as a county, benefits his people as initially his income was from war). He established an alliance with Bianca's house which is another county. He also gained a political favour with the king and the first prince gautier who was likely to success the throne). These aren’t necessarily spoilers, it’s just the details explained. Since these are all the main points the novel proposes to mitigate the discomfort and ethical worries of the age gap (●'◡'●)ﾉ

Thank you , I am in chapter 50 now , and from my understanding his brother chased him out when he was 16 and he spent couple of years being a young knight, I didn't notice how many years to be honest so I thought he was older then 21 when he married a 9 year old , but what creeps me out is the flashback of him trying to get closer to a 9 year old and realizing his feelings to her while she grows up infront of him , he basically watched her grow .. I still love them though but his flashbacks are kind of creepy to me

Ah i agree, i found it a bit creepy too, but i suppose the author is still trying to keep the integrity of the era it’s set in. Since it was mentioned multiple times that a grown adult in a marriage of convenience with a young child is shameful. It should be noted that the use of the word “grown man” when describing zachary is most likely still in medieval standards, since there was a mention of 3 years when vincent mentioned the time it took for him to build his estate (if i remember correctly). So the ethics applied to judge his character i believe should be by that era’s ethics, i think the author is probably trying to close the plot hole of how bianca believes zachary to be a cold person in her first life, and that he didn’t care for her at all (issue of neglect). So the author tries to dispute that plot point by playing it off as a misunderstanding that Zachary was actually just overly cautious. I personally think the author wasn’t trying to portray it as love in the early stages, but rather compassion. Though if you are still creeped out by it i think it’s totally valid, i just typed all this cus i think this author has more depth than just adding this bit of the plot for perversion. Like there are def some smut manhwas out there using controversial tropes (like force, sa, confinement, etc..) for like fetish bait, or kinks, but i think this author is probably challenging themself with this plot point since it fits well with the arranged marriage concept and it’s a common ethical debate in that topic. Then again i’m just speculating, sorry for the long reply

I finished the story so I am up to date to the new side story, but in the siage arc the butler told the lady that 15 to 16 years ago the young master Zachary (age 16) was chased out after his father died , so it basically set the time frame ,so he is about 32 now and she is 19 ,, so he married her when he was 22 , and I read some comments that the age gap was greater in the novel and he was older and she was 7 when her father sent her away and he did it with her when she 17 in the novel . Again no hate I love the story and I love their dynamic, I was just hoping the artist made him older and skip the flashbacks
