Why does Yashiro have big bird in a cage? got sesame street issues much?
I think you are right about the new company, maybe h is a smuggler slash import/export agent, but the bird creeps me out.
One question that has bugged me is why did Misumi want Yashiro to partner with him when he first planned to become Kaichou? Yashiro is loyal and smart and he can bring in the money but with no ambition and his sexual exploits, it was a bad idea all around. Unless it was all a ploy to test Hirata's loyalty.
It sucks Yashiro was banished when the recording cleared him of everything and he gave Misumi all that gold; but I guess that was his only other way out.
Misumi for sure not want to banish Yashiro, but he must do this. That was condition of other group to avoids war. Three subbordinates of Misumi were killed cause this in few days, Misumi must banish Yashiro to end this war before became more extrame and more people would die. He still cares about him and probably help him with new company now.
I think it was great idea to make Yashiro second in comand after his succession. Yashiro doesn't have ambition, but is strong, intellingent and loyal to Misumi. Misumi trusts in Yashiro, he knows how good Yashiro is in making money, how good is with convincing people to work for him (Misumi guards, Hirata cleaners) and he can good read people. Also Yashiro is man who easly can say to Misumi, that he's wrong, not only flatter him. That is why Misumi wants Yashiro. He knows that Yashiro hacks with his position and duties.
Important for me is also that Yashiro like Amu are completly loyal to Misumi and they never would betray him. They are not people who would conspire against Misumi or try to uses him to their own goals. One them both Misumi can rely upon.
Also Yashiro has bad opinions and poeple know about his sexuall driving, but like Misumi said in chapter 10, you can doing whatever you want if you gain power. That wouldn't be obstacles, if Yashro would handle his position and shows his authority.
I think Misumi choose was very good.
This is the first time in the series where Yashiro has looked out ANY window and reflected on his life without it raining. Quite a few chapters back he thought about the beliefs he'd have to give up to let Domeki in his heart and I was really trying to figure out what the beliefs were and now it hit me. Yashiro didn't think he could be saved and also maybe he doubted that he was worth saving, but Doumeki did it! He saved him. Yashiro has no more excuses for the next time they meet.

When she gets to 'have some vegetables' Rill's gonna be in big trouble
