I think what is going to happen is Elias will start to go down the path of self-sacrifice... Chise will flip out on him when she figures it out, and in the end; it will be Joseph who actually inadvertently saves the day.
I think millions of years ago he found something he shouldn't have, which except for brief periods here and there, it took over his body (thus the times when Joseph goes "quiet"). I believe Joseph has hit the point where he WANTS to die, but because of the thing inside of him, he can't.
Thus we have the thing with saving Chise. Somehow, I think, the dragon curse will be passed on to him, which he will carry; until it finally destroys both Joseph and the thing inside him.
It's either that, or Chise, Elias and Ruth all die/go into a deep sleep (as we have learned Chise's specialty is sleep spells) together.
Or following the self-sacrifice idea, Elias does sacrifice himself. But instead of dying, he loses the part of him that is fae, as well as his magic, and becomes 100% human. This will also be the time in which we figure out what he actually is. I think he is part Wendigo, given his overall appearance and the fact that he has eaten humans before...
I hope my first idea, or at least parts of it are correct, because I hate French Endings, and both Elias and Chise deserve to be happy together! And to be honest, while I like human Elias, I like bone-head Elias better.
That is my theory...
I'm sorry, but I really hope the chicken boy is dead... I never liked him, and while I do blame Siyeon in part for her current situation; I feel that chicken boy is also to blame. There was a point early on where Siyeon tried to end things (at least that's what it appeared like), but the guy wouldn't leave her alone, and she couldn't control her urges (this is where her part of the blame comes in) and now they are where they currently are.
Granted, if none of this had happened, Hajin probably would never have figured out his feelings and continued to be an asshole. But still, chicken boy needs to go...

Why can't we be caught up with the raws? They're already up to chapter 24! I shouldn't have gone and looked at the latest chapter... sooo many feels
You know... the one question I have is... what happened to Nanami's father?? Sure he was a good for nothing, but it bugs me a little that at least as far as I can tell from the overall story and the raws is that we never hear of him again... did he die in a ditch? Or get put on a tuna boat to pay back his debts? We do not know, and I'm a little disappointed by that cause I wanted to see a show down between him, Nanami and Tomoe...
Okay not entirely 50% called it. But I knew Elias was going to do something with sacrificing himself/someone, that Chise would get super pissed, and Joseph would somehow get involved!
Now we just have to see which of my endings is relatively correct lol
