this is making my blood boil!! why should the child who was neglected and emotionally and mentally damaged as a result of your negligence and hate be the one apologizing??? what exactly is there for you to forgive??? it's YOU who needs forgiveness wtf!
as someone who grew up emotionally neglected, watching these types of parents is so triggering and upsetting.
there was no need to write such an elaborate disgusting rape scene and if any of you actually enjoyed this repulsive shit you're a sick fuck! idk what kind of "relationship" is supposed to be formed from this, but I sure as hell hope Uno makes him wish they'd never met. it'll be very frustrating if he suddenly turns into some incompetent loser who can never get the upper hand. Let's not assassinate his character plz!
why is bro acting all depressed and miserable over what his rapist feels or doesn't feel???? not to mention they barely even knew each other for like two days. He's so desperate for affection that he'll accept it from anyone.. and that's genuinely so sad!! People like him need therapy and caring people in their lives, not a "happy ending" with their rapist.
He was always looking for his father's validation and currently he is being cut off by his father.. he thinks the only way to get his father's "affection" back if he does this one thing that'll bring their family some honour or something like that.. he is basically one of those people who'll do whatever their abuser asks them to do bc they have been conditioned to do so for all their life.. it is pitiful tbh and yes he needs extensive therapy..
He really disappointed me in this chapter. Ian is full of flaws too but I'm most definitely with him this time and everything he said is true. He's expecting Ian to sacrifice his wishes and his feelings for his sake, and thats not something I support in any story or any scenario. From a plot-writing perspective, if a second love interest didn't exist here, at this point TJ would have come to realize that he values his relationship with Ian more than his desire for power and fortune. But here, this particular scene makes it clear who the "endgame" is going to be. but honestly, I find Jo to be kind of irrelevant and the story wouldn't have changed much without him. I would have liked to see the complexity of Ian and TJ's history explored further instead, and I would have liked to see Ian find freedom and healing on his own. idk why characters always have to "find someone" that "makes them happy", be it romantically or sexually or both. it would be nice to see someone who's gone through their trials and tribulations to find their own happiness and THEN meet someone to share that happiness with. that's just my rant for today
watch him magically regain Derek's memories and boom, all is forgotten and forgiven as usual I love and hate characters like Felix. too soft and kind to a fault which borders being a doormat and pushover with no backbone or brain, just blinded by their feelings. that manipulative murdering bitch is gonna get his way at the end and that truly pisses me the fuck off fr!
I'm gonna be honest, I don't rly care about the main characters. they're both dry and dont rly have chemistry. I'm more interested in the family drama. I need to know what happened between mc and his brother.. and what the brother has been through. its very obvious that his hypersexuality stems from trauma and I need to know his story, although I'm sure it'll break my heart.

somebody off this motherfcker already plz!! omfg
