it's pretty refreshing to have a middle aged man as the mc in shounen and i really like how the other cadets, being way younger than him, calls/treats him like an old man, it's pretty endearing. both kikoru and leno being protective of him and his secret identity at the start was really cute. i know kikoru has an obvious crush towards him but i really want him to end up with mina instead (if the author chose to add romance), for obvious reasons. so for that i wish they would explore mina's character more, all i know about her so far is only that she's someone everybody look up to and hibino's childhood friend that he made a promise with.
also, god i love hoshina's and narumi's design. so cool, so handsome ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
