He did the right thing, he was totally selfless even if it doesn't seem like it. He saved her of a life of servitude like most women fall under when their partners get sick. By leaving, he allowed her to study and be independent and ultimately be the great woman who raised Mr. Haebom. He couldn't promise to be back and it would be worse to leave her waiting with hope, so rationally speaking, he did the best for her. And I thank him for that, he was a good partner.
Is sad, still, for both of them. I hope the man can get closure once he visits her tomb. I just can't simply be mad to a man who fought a brain tumor and won, and did it so respectfully to the independence of his girlfriend.
Also, I love Ho and how he helps Mr. Haebom fight his solitude by accompanying him each and every time. I LOVE THEM!!! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!
I like that this author shows you some situations that happen in real life in such a raw but dignified way. Is beautiful. Is life happening and it can be sad for the way some situations develop. So far there had been very cruel and heartbreaking stories but you see the human side of the characters and how they did what they did but not necessarily out of ill intentions... I find that narrative skill soooo amazing. Thank you author.
You all are so unfair hating on Yeonduk for making Skylar wait some months, because you forget Skylar make Yeonduk wait FOR YEARS just to treat him nicely and even remotely as a friend. Smh!
The author is a pretty good narrator so we will only get the entire picture once the issue is resolved. Thank you Translator-sama for the story. I will patiently wait for the rest and hopefully we will see where will this lead us ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

AGAIN I'M CRYING. LIKE EVERY CHAPTER.
THANK YOU AUTHOR AND THANK YOU UPLOADER FOR LET ME READ THIS MASTERPIECE
