If you have depression then you committed suicide whose fault do you think it is...? Is it You because you let your sickness get the better of you that are you held responsible because you "just got sick" or is it the main reason why the person got sick in the first place.. I believe that the person himself/herself isn't 100% to blame here. There are so many factors that we should consider before saying, mental health issues are no excuse for doing bad deeds to other people.
I have a friend who went through depression and I just want to say that even though he did drastic things to himself and to his loved ones it partially excuses him and justifies the reason that he doesn't have full control of himself. The heaviness of having mental health issues is that we couldn't just understand that other side. Although we say we understand but clearly we don't.
