they’re so cute and hot. very pretty art and dumb but likable main characters. i love a blushing smaller seme. didn’t realize when i started reading this that it wasn’t completed and now i’m disappointed bc i wanna see them finally admit they are in love with each other.

missed opportunity for the monkey king and his double to sandwich touya- i so wanted to see him bottom once. i’m always impressed with how well this author manages to create these fantastical settings and sprawling stories that fit into 5 chapters without feeling rushed.
both stories are interesting. i like that it’s not the typical dynamics that is usually portrayed in dom/subverse stories.
kind of an anticlimactic ending. this story had potential for me to be amazing. i mean the possibility of a yandere cannibalistic childhood friend as the love interest is very exciting to me but this didn’t deliver that.
ok at first i disliked the seme but at least he did the bare minimum and acknowledged that he sexually assaulted the uke and apologized for it. and since then he’s been respectful of the ukes boundaries. sad that this is something im praising him for but when it comes to yaoi a lot of the time this type of seme never says sorry or stops when the uke is scared. so i’m pleased with his development and really want to read the 2nd volume to see this relationship continue to grow.
