The more chapters I read, the more i hate the idea of them ending up together. Like thats his guardian/ brother/ father figure at this point. This is why i hate the trope dor age gap couples where they meet each other at the earlier halves of their lives like if makes the age gap much weirder than it would be if they met when both were grown adults. Also hate the ones where they meet when they are grown but then like theres a flashback of them meeting once by chance or like their past life when they were like children LIKE NOW U MADE IT WEIRDDD- i feel like in this case with how the older one sees the younger one as a second chance from failing to protect someone he thought of as a sister and acting like his guardians - its just ughhh it would eat as a platonic found family trope fr
