This was probably one of the worst love story, most painful and heartbreaking story I’ve ever read but the ending is so so beautiful.
For me it was the worst love story too, but in a good way. The character development was superb, Heiner and Annete slowly learned to improve themselves, they've become stronger confronting their weakness and flaws. Heiner past was painful, while Annete present was like a living hell that Heiner carefully built. The angst moments was masterpiece.
