Because it was a beautiful story and unlike other royalty+commoner relationship the royalty didn’t throw away everything to be on the level with his lover like in others you both have to sacrifice something to be on equal footing HOWEVER I don’t think this story had that many difficulties to push through like they could have been separated a lot longer than that and got back together in end but I enjoyed the read though
