The story is actually quite good w good plots...thats rare to see but there are some VERY big plot holes like uke not even remembering his sister's name... and I get to know at last it's been only 1 month since he came??? then what abt the Christmas they celebrated ??? How?? Also uke's husband d1ed accidently then??? Since his bro was just a bipolar??? Then save uke from who in the email that his ex hubby wrote before the accident??? it didnโt take the uke (gitae) 9 years to remember what happened, an amputee leg takes about 2 months to heal, so for the whole phantom pain arc, was probably a few weeks or months later, they are 20 and 29 for the majority of the series right now, iโm not sure about the new lobo arc since itโs not on here but it could be possible that another 9 years have passed and theyโre 38 and 29
It didn't take another nine years for him to remember, just some months at most. So he's 29 during the events of the initial story. It's probably been a few more years by the latest entries, though that's after the whole amnesia thing is resolved.

Apocalypse happens in the year Gitae is 20 and Jihoon is 11. Jihoon is taken by his parents into the bunker. Soon after his dad leaves, then 6 months later his mom leaves.
then 9 years pass.
Meanwhile, Gitae and his bf Eunchul have been wandering around with those guys you see trying to kill Gitae. Jihoon has been growing up alone for roughly 8 years.
They are on the mountain (Gitae is 29 now and Jihoon is 20) when those guys attack Gitae (who has an infected leg) to try to kill him for meat. Jihoon was going to off himself that day, and happens to see Gitae and saves him.
He performs an amputation, and during the recovery i guess Gitae loses his memories from age 20 to 29 and thats why he thinks he is 20 at the start of the main story. By end of main story he remembers everything and realizes he is 29 now.
Phantom Pain is set a few months after the end of main story.
Lobo ch 1 (aka Ch 12) is set a few years after the end of phantom pain, but then next ch (ch 13) goes back to a few months after the end of Phantom pain. So far story is still there, and we've yet to come back to present time.
