Lisbeth dies and sylhan doesnt end up marrying lister but spends several months trapped ar glenberg castle being heavily drugged until hes saved by ishimon and in the escape he gets separated from him and stabs listers eye out he ends up wanderinf around a bit in a manic state and ends hp being human trafficked by some guys who human sacrifice him to a giant beast who ends up being Gjord (? Idk the translation wasnt very good) and he goes to epsen w him and basically trials drugs for his madness ans has sex w gjord until hes able lock in and they launch a campaign and end up taking the country back over and basically its revealed Lister helped orchestrate everything bad that happened to slyhan and lister ends up being killed by gjord in a way that wasnt all that satisfying but the ending was ans i love gjord and slyhan #yay

Not more so than usual lister mostly just psychologically torments him but he does reveal that when slyhan first was poisoned and became a slave Lister and several court officials sa’d him while he was unconscious. Also i just wanna point out lister is toned down a lot in the webcomic and hes a lot worse in the novel. One of the biggest examples of this; in the webcomic he threatens to send slyhan to the stables and it doesnt rlly elaborate. In the book lister is constantly threatening to have a horse rape slyhan and it goes as far to the point theres a scene where slyhan, completely naked, has to beg lister for forgiveness on his hands and knees infront of said horse. Its really disturbing stuff
