Why make the FL a respected knight just to disrespect that as an author? Horrid and boring, I've read this plot 20 times.

I regret wasting any time on this. ML is a real POS, especially in the beginning and he has a complete character shift out of nowhere and never really apologized for threatening to kill her and locking her up in a tower and being a PERV. I got whiplash from this disappointing rollercoaster of a plot. Interesting elements wasted, sad to see.

The pacing is either too slow or too fast also not very unique and some interesting plot points were introduced just to never be looked back on.
