Just because nobody EVER seems to return home after their adventure is complete. I'd like an isekai where the protagonist actually manages to return to their family and other beloved friends or people.
Alright, so here the woman had a sad and cold life. Doesn't mean she can't change that. The meaning of an adventure is to make yourself grow, learn different things and offer another perspective.
At least that's my opinion. If she returned, maybe she could change things just like she is doing in the game.

No but seriously, there's no happy life to return to. Why would she leave the small happy things she did achieve here to go back to a "family" that abused her and a world that never appreciated her.

I feel like you're missing my point here, ha ha. Yes, all you said it's true, but what difference there was between her real life and Penelope's? None. Both had a well-off family that mistreated them, yet here and now the one who took on Penny's role is changing things and earning respect against bad odds and difficult circumstances. Who's to say she couldn't achieve the same thing in her real world, now that she's fed up with the abuse?
I'm honestly enjoying the world of the game, but I also want to know what the heck happened within her true family for things to be like that.

Yes you can put your all into something but at the end of the day it’s a material thing.. not worth killing yourself over. There are so many inventors and artist that have gotten their stuff stolen but aren’t talking suicide. I’m not saying don’t be mad, break sh*t, sue people, boycott do whatever the fu*k you have to but suicide is clearly a sign for help

Are you sure about the other authors??? Some posted on their twitter as well and they also had an event where many authors cried there because of the stress they've been getting because of illegal uploads. Many people are dying because of suicide and the reason are still unsolved so again don't invalidate their feelings.

You keep saying this line when I clearly said I’m not saying their feelings are not valid but suicide is a sign of mental health issues... burn out is a mental health issue.... stress is a mental health issue... are all of the authors and the people in the world who are suffering from it killing themselves? it doesn’t matter if you decide to commit suicide over a stubbed toe. The point is contemplating suicide is linked to your mental health. Therefore help is needed..... come correct next time

Yes, and the author is getting stressed and burned out because of the illegal uploads which is a mental health issue. Help is really needed and it would help her if the illegal sites would stop from sharing her hard-earned work.

Whether or not removing their work will help their mental state, none of us can really say because we aren’t them. I am not saying I agree with their work being obtained illegally. What I’ve been saying is the author needs to seek actual help not just the removal their work from these websites. So you going back and forth with me isn’t going to solve anything... how will your comment stop the possibility of another next suicide attempt?
