The author does such a good job at showing the tension in scenes. I also love how it’s kinda their thing to draw panels without dialogue, but the characters face says so many things

I hate that the manwha didn’t show how much everyone loves Sixx! In the novel Sixx mentions that he’s worked a lot of jobs that mainly involve labor because of how strong he is compared to everyone else. Since he has such a kind personality, he’s always gotten along with everyone. He has a friendly relationship with his boss from the grocery store and everyone at the movie theater loves Sixx. They also rely heavily on him for carrying in the shipment. He’s always ready to help out. As he helps one of the newer staff with stocking and she mentions how he’s just the way everyone described him to be (kind, helpful and reliable) which just shows how highly everyone thinks of him. He mentions how his boss doesn’t take advantage of him and how he even secretly gave him a holiday bonus to entice him to stay. His boss is opening another movie theater and asks if Sixx would be interested in being the manager at the current location. Sixx points out that there are older people who’ve been there longer but the boss tells him that he’s sure no one would have a problem with it. It’s a really touching moment and I’m sad it’s not even mentioned here! Also, it may be implied here and may be mentioned later, but Sixx is basically a woman magnet. Not only because of his looks but also his kind nature.
Oh the novel also mentions the adult movie Deepthroat starring Linda Lovelace. Which some of you may be familiar with the movie “Lovelace” with Amanda Seyfried playing Linda. Anyway that movie comes up later

So they changed A lot. Maybe to move the story along so they could do the timeskip? I don’t remember Malone choking Sixx? He does get really mad and they have an awkward ride home. Sixx leaves before anyone wakes up and leaves behind a flower (which comes back later).
When he goes back to the circus he finds out they need more money for Andy’s medical expenses and agrees to help the crew steal the safe from the ringleaders trailer. He took some precious jewelry from the crew like Leticias necklace and the other performers necklace, and they say it’s taking back what he should’ve paid them anyway. Sixx’s job is to protect Leticia in wolf form as she gets the ringleader to give her the code. The Crew start a fire when they have to buy more time. Sixx turns back into a human while Leticia steps away. The Ringleader tries to convince Sixx to turn against them by telling him he knows information about his Mom, and that he’ll buy him new clothes and a radio. Sixx gets upset because the ringleader revealed that he was sitting on information about his mom and never told him, and that the Radio wouldn’t mean the same because it wasn’t from Malone. Sixx basically put together that the Ringleader framed him for stealing the necklace just cause he didn’t like the attention he was getting from Malone and the ringleader tries to make excuses. It escalates and Sixx ends up shooting the ringleader in the leg. They escape with the money and Leticia gets her necklace back. She tells Andy, Corbin and Sixx to come live with her.

And even though it’s still a slow burn, I feel like it’s reached the point where the gaming scenes and irl scenes are pretty equal and so I feel like the story gets more interesting. Hang in there y’all
I wonder if this sexual stuff comes from like something he saw from his mom? Idk it seems a little far fetched cause she doesn’t seem like the type to be into that sorta stuff. But it’s kinda weird for his anger to go to a sexual place without sexual trauma…but what do I know
It doesn’t get worse than the auction (SA wise) and other than that, there is like maybe 2 things that come to mind but arent super crazy. The auction party is actually worse in the novel. Overall the story ends up being pretty sweet. I feel like it’s simple and the story isn’t too long.

He’s not horny for kids tho? He didn’t plan to have sex in front of Sixx. Sixx peeked in (and in the novel, the woman told Sixx to go to the room at midnight) he was trying to ignore Sixx when he realized he was peeping, but in the end couldn’t ignore it. He’s said questionable things, yes definitely. But at this point in the story he’s not sexually attracted to Sixx.

I mean if that’s how you feel and you wanna stop reading I’m not gonna actually beg you to. I didn’t mind it so much because Malon didn’t raise him when he was a kid, they spent what? A few months knowing each other before Sixx had to run away? and their relationship ends up being pretty sweet.
