i can usually “get past” rape themes in yaoi but omg i hated this one. the seme is an absolute asshole and i feel so bad for maki. maki is stressed from work, feels guilty about all of the people he’s fired (even though it’s really the higher ups decision), bears the burden of trying to make amends with the people he’s fired, and then he gets raped by the masseur who was supposed to heal his aching hip. not only that, but he’s blackmailed by the massage therapist and is raped over and over again by him, all while still feeling guilty and bad for the seme because he fired the seme’s dad. what the fuck. maki deserves better.
this story has SO MUCH potential like ren is so adorable and the whole mask thing was new and hot like ughhhh if only kamiya wasn’t such an asshole i need a rewrite with a new seme

my guess is that, since the manhwa is in korean, she gave him the name wolf in english, which makes it a little better… but the english translation just makes it sound stupid
