Fr, she’s trying to redeem herself through byul. Trying to lessen her guilt by treating byul the way she should have taken care of her own son. If she really wants to make nice with hyesung, she could’ve just reached out to him OR better yet, respect hyesung’s decision for her to never come back to his life, that includes his family. She’s the adult here, not Byul. She could’ve asked Byul to ask Hyesung’s permission first if they can talk out of respect for Hyesung. She didn’t. She went behind his back.
